(sh)it never stop

Yesterday the critics of "stay the course" almost praised Condi for not resorting to the Hitler/Nazi bullshit talking points of her colleagues. That may have been premature as she merely upped the ante with this little nugget from Essence mag:
Secretary of State Rice compared the Iraq war with the American Civil War, telling a magazine that slavery might have lasted longer in this country if the North had decided to end the fight early. "I'm sure there are people who thought it was a mistake to fight the Civil War to its end and to insist that the emancipation of slaves would hold," Rice said in the new issue of Essence magazine. "I know there were people who said, 'Why don't we get out of this now, take a peace with the South, but leave the South with slaves?'" Rice said.

What false war analogy will these chicken hawks whip out next? Choose your favorite and post a comment!

A. War of 1812: Iraq critics are actually Royal Navy loyalists who want to burn the White House

B. World War I: Iraq critics are just slackers avoiding the draft

C. The Revolutionary War: Iraq critics are Redcoats trying to unjustly tax our (Texas) tea

D. The Chaco War: Iraq critics are scared Bolivians aligned with Standard Oil futilely resisting the awesome Paraguayan power of Shell Oil
